Ellauise for trying very hard in maths with addition.
Harvey R for super reading. He always practises at home and tries very hard in phonics.
Gemma- all her spellings correct in phonics.
Poppy- trying hard in literacy retelling the story of the tiger who came to tea
Jack- trying hard to recall the Tiger who came to tea and super role play.
Amy- super story of the stripy Baboon who came to class based on “The tiger who came to tea”.
Rennah used excellent Excel skills (auto sum) this week when analysing sports day data.
Tyler has been working hard in Maths, reading and writing! All round star!
James & Harvey – generating and sharing good ideas for creative writing.
Aaron discovered lots of patterns in the magic square! He had his ‘Maths Brain’ on today!
As well as having a great Sports Day, Megan is also working hard to prepare for transition to Secondary school. She is also always a pleasure to have in class and works very hard.

Joshua and Isabelle have been answering questions this week during the school trip.
Kyla and Ruby have both showed their excellent Mental Maths skills – keep it up!
Mr Sugden thought that Emma has made a really good effort in Maths, especially when multiplying decimals.
George was given a Star for creating an excellent documentary on age guidelines for gaming and films.
Rebekah has been given a Star because she worked out how to create a ‘Magic Square’!
Tamisha’s play script for ‘Dear Norman’ was well written and funny!
This morning KS2 held their Sports Day and what a fabulous time they had! Tom & Jack (from Fit 4 Fun) organised lots of exciting challenges and competitions. Congratulations to ‘China’ for being the top scoring team with 332 – but it was a very close call between them and ‘Nigeria’ who reached 2nd place with 330 points! Third place was earnt by Ghana (291 points) with the remaining 5 teams putting on an impressive performance too!

Speed Bounce in 20 seconds – Megan, Hannah, Tamisha, Harry (all Year 6) and Broady (Year 5) all did 50 bounces.
